Jibble is a time and attendance app whose free plan is unusually generous: unlimited users, facial recognition, GPS and kiosk mode at no cost. It is a strong pick for hourly teams on site. It is a weaker pick for teams that work at a computer, and its paid pricing is oddly hard to find. Here is the full picture.

What Is Jibble?
Jibble is a cloud time and attendance product aimed at hourly and shift-based teams. Employees clock in and out from a phone, a browser, a desktop app, a Chrome extension, a Slack or Teams command, or a shared kiosk that verifies identity by face. Every punch becomes a timesheet, and managers approve, adjust and export those timesheets for payroll.
The company markets the product as "free forever" for unlimited users, and that claim holds for the core clock. Scheduling depth, leave accruals, group management, individual permissions and live location tracking are sold on Premium and Ultimate tiers, with an Enterprise option on custom terms.
The typical Jibble customer is a restaurant, retail store, clinic, warehouse or field-service business that wants to stop buddy punching and produce accurate payroll hours. It is not positioned as a productivity or monitoring tool for office and remote workers, and the feature set reflects that.
Jibble also lists an AI assistant on its features page, plus invoicing from tracked project time and a set of integrations that includes Xero, QuickBooks, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and a public API. Those are useful additions, but the reason to choose Jibble is still the attendance clock: the identity checks on punch and the price at which you get them.

The free plan is documented on jibble.io. The paid tiers are not: when we fetched the pricing page in September 2026 it showed only the free offer, and Capterra's pricing listing does the same. The Premium and Ultimate figures below are taken from a March 2026 third-party review and are marked accordingly.

No base fee and no minimum: pricing is per user, and the free plan has no seat limit. Annual-billing discounts are reported by some third parties but were not visible on the vendor page, so treat them as unconfirmed.
Worked example: a 12-person team on Premium at the reported $5.99 rate pays about $72 a month. The same team on QuickBooks Time Premium pays $140, and on Buddy Punch Starter pays $79.

What Jibble Does Well
A free plan that is genuinely usable
Jibble's free tier has no user cap and includes the parts most small teams need: mobile and web clock-in, facial recognition, GPS stamps, automated timesheets and basic reports. Clockify is the only other mainstream tracker with a comparable free offer, and Clockify does not include facial recognition.
Strong anti-buddy-punching controls
Face recognition on punch, selfie capture, GPS stamps, geofencing and a shared kiosk mode cover the common ways hourly staff game a time clock. For restaurants, retail, clinics and warehouses this is the feature set that matters, and Jibble does not lock the basics behind a paywall.
Many ways to clock in
Mobile app, web, desktop app, Chrome extension, Slack and Teams commands, QR codes and NFC tags. Teams with a mix of office, floor and field workers can pick a method per location without buying separate products.
Highly rated by users
Capterra lists Jibble at 4.8 out of 5 across roughly 2,000 reviews, with ease of use at 4.8. The recurring praise is the simplicity for both employees and admins and the value of the free plan.
Reasonable paid tiers
Third-party summaries put Premium at $5.99 and Ultimate at $10.99 per user per month for monthly billing, with no base fee. That is in line with or below QuickBooks Time and Buddy Punch once their base fees are included.
Where Jibble Falls Short
Paid pricing is hard to find on the vendor site
When we fetched jibble.io/pricing in September 2026 the page displayed only "free forever, unlimited users." Capterra's pricing listing likewise shows only the free plan. The Premium and Ultimate figures above come from third-party reviews (OnTheClock, March 2026) and should be confirmed in the app before you budget for them.
Thin on desk-work monitoring
Jibble is built around attendance verification: who clocked in, where and when. The features page does not describe screenshots, app usage or activity levels, and the Capterra reviews that mention screenshot monitoring describe it as inconsistent. Remote and contact-center teams that need to see what tracked time was spent on will find it lacking.
Management features sit on paid tiers
Group management, unlimited schedules, leave accruals and individual permissions require Premium or Ultimate. The free plan is a time clock; running a team of any size day to day means paying.
Reviewers report app glitches and setup friction
The most common complaints on Capterra are mobile app lag, sync issues and crashes, plus initial setup complexity around admin permissions and kiosk mode. Reporting customization and export options are also called out as limited compared with larger platforms.
Fewer integrations than the big names
Xero, QuickBooks, Slack, Teams, Zapier and an API cover the essentials, but there is no native sync to most US payroll providers. Teams on ADP, Gusto or Paychex will be exporting files or building a Zapier flow.
